Out of the box and onto the docks the Indislider has its first outing. This is also my first outing withe the Letus Extreme. (Still learning how to use these) Shot with my FX1, edited with Edius in 1440x1080i, down-converted to 1280x720p .m2t from the timeline, converted to .mov with the Mac version of Streamclip. No color correction. I did crop some noob problem shots. Canon 24mm, 50mm & 85mm FL/FD lenses. Handheld was an experience, but I'm recovering.

Architecturally striking from the freeway and the waterfront, this is a fairly new domestic water pumping station on the Sacramento River just north of downtown. I’ve driven past plenty of times and decided to shoot it today.

This thing has like 6 humongous pumps, thankfully quiet today. I’ll return when there’s people… the circular area in front has uplights and squirty-water-doodles in the summer. The first boat shot was a total fluke, just a pan without the viewfinder... go figure.

Next vid gets people.

I had just received my 35mm adapter from Neil and decided to do some test footage with it while i was out putting gas in my wifes car. (2 something a.m.)
I'm not really too proud of my setup shots but love some of the looks you can achieve with the lens and HV20. I found the second clip where i grab the gas handle is the only and most cinematic shot in this test. Positive feedback is appreciated. As well as other, just don't be to harsh.;)

-Ryan

(p.s. It's all raw footage. NO CC, Filters or anything. Just straight out of the camera)

Hello all

I am the Creative Director for LandscapeHD a TV channel with a difference that has been broadcasting in Europe for more than 20 years. We have recently developed a new creative project that aims to act as an outlet for talented film makers to get there work onto our HD television channel and into viewers homes through cable, satellite and terrestrial television systems.

We are a music television channel that broadcast world, instrumental and classical music videos. These are not music videos in the traditional sense (featuring the musician) but are more like short films combining HD imagery of the world we live in set to music taken from our extensive rights cleared library of classical and contemporary instrumental music.

What we are looking for are talented film-makers with a desire to get there work onto television. When your film/music video is broadcast you will earn royalties for the hard work you have put in and an on-screen credit to your website.

You will need an camera capable of shooting in HD (either progressive or interlaced) and edit equipment that can export uncompressed.

Please note: we are not YouTube we are a commercial television channel and therefore have strict broadcast standards in place so please only email once you have visited our website www.landscapehd.com and have read the Production pages and in particular The Producer Page.

If you think your work is suitable please email me a link to ben@landscapehd.com
