The NLE's you mentioned all have the same basics and structure, they only differ in small details and your own personal preference regarding workflow, output etc.
I've used all the NLE's you mentioned and i think Avid Xpress Pro is the most stable and almost bug-free on my current setup. As soon as you get used to Avid you don't want to change! I wish you good luck in film school and hope to see some of your school projects on Vimeo in the future! -

Thanks for the positive comments! Yes, i mostly used a 50mm f/1.8 for the night scenes and a few shots with the standard 18-70mm
