20 days agoHe commented on Updated Canon HF100 Test Footage - NatureThanks allot for the helpfull reply. I do pan with a tripod. But what I have is that the wind pushes me all the time. That causes vertical shaking. What the Sanyo's DS does it keeps it stable..and then for a split second it shakes the entire image like crazy and then its stable again for 5 seconds. But if you can get that spider without a tripod im convinced already. Im not new to filming. I have had the HD2 and HD1000 for almost 1 year now and basiclly all I do is panning. But I am sick of the shaking. Ill let you know how it turns out if I ever get the HF100.

20 days agoHe commented on Updated Canon HF100 Test Footage - NatureBlew me away aswell! I was wondering someting. I have a Sanyo HD1000. And I film planes allot. But the Sanyo's digital stabilisation sucks. So all my footage is really shakey. Is the HF100's OIS good with fast moving objects where I have to pan? (watch my profile and videos if you want to see) So like that shot with the spider..was that without a tripod? Let me know ;)
Again..that just is one good film.wow!
