    OK well what about W.C lens on the front and ZOOM through until no vignette remains.That way you wont drop resolution,however this probably only works if your camera has a macro mode or if you can place an achromat between the camera and Brevis.

    maybe if u want to rid the vig you could try using a Wide Conversion lens on the front of your adapter and then crop the frame back in post edit.This way you will maintain the width of field after you trim off the vignette
