    I've just come across a cool little app called JES deinterlacer which will deinterlace 1080! Export as full quality from iMovie and then deinterlace and compress (using quicktime interface) using JES.

    This video displays some of the issues I have been having with my SD1 - horizontal banding on moving objects - see the pool cue at 0:17/0:18. Any ideas what causes this?
