  Good camera work and superior diving conditions for shooting available light and color in the shallows. I love diving and photography and beginning this year I'll be doing my first UW shooting - stills and video. Really looking forward to it.
  A couple personal experience observations: The scene lengths were perfect for gathering great visual detail by the viewer and it was obvious the music had the perfect timing for that. Unfortunately that was too perfect and after about 45 seconds (in spite of my huge love for the UW world - am a zoologist by education), I found my mental concentration distracted by the scene changes with the music changes. And this pulled me away from focussing on the tiny details I love in the UW world - the corals, the details of the wreck and such and I found myself viewing the broader 'wide screen' in my mind. Perhaps throwing in some cross fades here and there or halving the scene length now and then to break up the "canned" appearance. Just thoughts about how I perceived the experience. I've been watching a lot of your work...320K connection but WELL WORTH THE WAIT! You will be my cyber mentor for understanding what excellent UW shooting is all about. One day I may nail it as you have. Cheers~!

  He commented on Newly uploaded video loses title & comments

  While my video was uploading to the server I filled out the text boxes for Title, comments and the tags. Hit the Add button on the tags and they appeared. When the uploading was completed the message went to One moment please.... and at that time my video's TITLE was displayed at the top of the browser window correctly. After the conversion was completed by the server the video ended up with "untitled" and did not have a comments section beneath. Only the tags made it. Running Safari 3.1, Tiger.

  You might give it a try now. Had the same problem, reported it and they got it fixed. Mac/Safari here too.

  Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta, and Alaska with one dive in Australia. The Caribbean region has been calling for years. Getting ready to retire and hit the road with the Z1 and still cameras and do some relaxing photo "work" while touring. Total Dive vacation agenda. Hope to see the Red Sea in the next few years too. Your footage has made me Google up all the UW housing makers for the Z1 again but geez, they cost more than the cam. So glad to see your footage doesn't have the porthole vignette in the corners. Its a shame to see footage from a $12K cam/housing rig with dark corners.

  OK, enoughs enough. You're killin' me. You don't know how often I've punched up Belize and Cozumel in searches to pre-plan more than one trip down that way some day. Terrific footage. Water clarity....indescribable. Were you on an Aggressor liveaboard? Would you recommend one as first visit or shorebased vacation to start? Thanx, keep'em coming.

  I have a friend who wants to use his iSight cam and iMovie HD to create some banjo pickin' video clips of himself. I was planning on tutoring him this evening via iChat on how to do that. This will be a GREAT reference for him when he forgets everything I teach him. ;-) Good job.
