    On the verge of purchasing HG21. Either that or SR11, the choice is killing me! Was about to go for HV30 but rally sick of tapes. Great job with the focus, great subject!

    2 minutes of video = 20 minutes of rendering???

    Can someone help us out here, should that really be how long it takes??? (So close to buying either this or HV30, but I am jsut sick of tapes, jams, rewinding etc etc and motor noise!!). I would be new to AVCHD so it's kind of scary to hear these numbers!

    THanks so much for posting this is very useful. I wanted an HV30 but don't want tape/motor noise. I assume lack of camera noise is great on HG21?

    I was very close to buying SR12, intersting to hear HG is sharper.
