Award winning Animator/filmmaker. avid editor.
He made his first film in 1991 ‘Adeste Fideles’ awarded the James Horgan Prize for best animation- Galway film festival. For the following four years he lectured in animation at the European School of Animation and In 92 he produced the schools first awarding short. In 92 he also took up a teaching post at the Dunlaoghaire School of Art and design. During this time he was also producing and directing short animated films & graphics intros for television. 1994, Cashell diverted in multi media & live event management producing the first live concert broadcast in on the web Europe. Won 2 awards for best use of technology on the internet the same year (Angel of Fashion & the 5 Star Australian Fashion Award). From 2000 took a post in RTE, as an avid editor while also directing & producing industrial short films.
In 2005 worked as artistic director on two closing event ceremonies for European Capitol of Culture. Now works and lives in dublin as freelance editor and director. Current project - in development. 'Chill' animated feature (IFB & Irish Arts Council).

That was so smooth with the camera on a skate board. Nice cuts, great music choice. If your cutting again go for the sync and visual more it works well with the songs structure. cut to different locations on the change. foot where the strings play etc. tighten it up a bit and get out sooner. really good stuff. enjoyed

Great 3 heads are fact in so much myth and art . Have you tried to increase frame rate with audio? blinks can help any character animation.Fs are Very important. stress the vowels and some wrinkles too. Exaggerate the Character as far as you can go, realism is an after thought. Well done . look forward to the next.
