I've always liked makin' movies of one type or another. Shooting on film, or video....it's all about makin' something seem real. Creating that "pretend" world of a movie really takes off when i'm editing. It is then that i can add dialog, music & foley soundtracks and edit the picture just as i see it in my mind. I love moviemaking.

    Lealar,
Thanks for the compliments on my movie! It's always good to get feedback from other shooters such as yourself who've shot thier movies with Super-8. We understand through the experience of using the format that it can be very tricky game of exposure and guesswork to make it work. I like that you've posted "tests" that you've made using the format. It's very good to view other peoples work. I like your Super-8 "negative" filmstock transfer. Looks good.

Sorry.... i accidentally responded using my other vimeo account above.

    Hong!!!
Yes...i DO remember you from Fotech. Great film man!! I really like your style of cinematography and editing. It reminds me of the european expressionism films of the early 1960's. It's always amazing to me how much can be relayed in a movie with only music, well shot images, and good editing. This film has all of these. Just out of curiousity...is that the Santa Monica Pier you shot at toward the end of the film?
Just wondering because i've been there only twice and it seems familiar to me.

    Thanks,
and hope to hear from you soon!
