Final Cut Pro is the software I use to edit. I have to capture the footage into iMovie, export as an xml file and then import that into FCP. You can speed up the clip in FCP.

Thanks for your comments. I have no doubt that you are going to love your FS100. The music was Sinnerman by Nina Simone and I edit my footage in Final Cut Pro.
I have since made an adapter for the camera that attaches to the bottom of my front tire fork. I haven't had a chance to do a sample video but I will soon.
