Laura Ashbrook Compton

I need to be in a room with colleagues who enjoy an intellectual minefield, who think in imagery and typography, who get excited about an idea that could change the world, or finally overturn mediocrity, all of which are challenges that must require an imaginative process, because I see my world in terms of composition, and need to engulf that into my work, to be encouraged by people that challenge me conceptually, that reward clever design, recognize that our visual world can be set afire, and inspiration, and my chosen lifestyle is a direct result of my contribution to it.
