It all started in 2003, when Harrison Smith and John Zamer set out to make “The Ball from Outer Space,” under the name “Devastation Station.”
On the set of their second movie, “Unus Studio Pinguis Liber Et Suum Esca” (or “Fries”) they met Derek Beck, who quit his job at the double sided tape factory and joined the crew.
Later that year, through a series of freak accidents and crossed wires, they befriended Trevor Smith. After a severe and horrifying initiation ritual, Trevor was in!
Along with Cameron Albin and Tyler Smith, these boys made movies under the name “Rockbottom Productions” until 2007, when the name was changed to “Neko Neko Films.”
NEKO NEKO is Indonesian slang for “A novel idea that only makes things worse.”
Since then, we’ve made dozens of movies, along with Will Loden, Jono Foley, Suzan Zaghmouth, Murray Gray, and Chris Rehm.
