  I don't understand the youtube comparison. Vimeo for me is indeed a place where filmmakers share their work. Some show work that is purely visual, other have work that tries to tell a story (even some other commercial ones). Both are valid in my opinion. I even enjoyed watching the gold coast real estate videos on here. In the end it's a community based video site and we don't have to limit ourselves to content.
