Here are a few thoughts about camping (or “overnight parking,” if you prefer) in Wal-Mart parking lots. Over the past year, we've camped in many such parking lots across the United States. I don't profess to be an expert on the subject, but I will attempt to glean some lessons from our experience. Just for fun, let's explore the topic in a Q&A format.

Q: How many times have you camped in a Wal-Mart parking lot?

A: I'm not sure exactly. Maybe a dozen.
